Udai Pratap College, one of the most prestigious institutions in North India, reflects Rajarshi Udai Pratap Singh Jeo Dev’s deeper insight and expanding vision towards education. The motto of the College, i.e., dridharashtriyabhakti parakramashcya (staunch patriotism and valour), exhibits that vision, spirit and noble sentiment of Sri Rajarshi ji beautifully, of imparting education which is for our motherland India, one which propels the country forward and is unflinching in its ideals of patriotism to the nation. The College is a grant–in–aid institution recognized by the UGC under 2 (f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act of 1956. It was conferred autonomous status by the UGC in the year 1991. The UGC validated our dedication to students and imparting quality education by awarding the institution with the prestigious “College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)” status. The institution is also a recipient of the DST-FIST scheme by the Department of Science and Technology and the Star College Scheme by the Department of Biotechnology. The institution has also been selected under the “Star Status” scheme of the Department of Biotechnology by the Government of India.
